File Acceptance

We can accept virtually any computer file, however some files required extra preparation and may apply a Artwork Charge or Set up Fee. This can only be determinated after the file/art has been opened and examined.

Preferred File Acceptance

Vector File Formats  .ai, .cdr, .eps or .pdf
Images that are stored as algebraic equations defining the various lines and curves of the drawing.  They are created in illustration programs such as Corel Draw and Illustrator.  These files are smaller in size and clean and crisp for reprodution.

Vector Artwork requirements and tips:

• Artwork must be submitted at actual size of finished product.
• All fonts must be converted to outlines/paths.
• All placed/linked images must be embedded or included separately.
• All images must included the required bleed is necessary (1/8” around).
• A color copy or .jpg indicating cut should be sumitted for reference.
• All spot colors should be specifically identified.  Include white if necessary.
• Cut/Die line should always be clearly indicated with an unused spot color.
• If you are using last version available always save file 2 versions bellow.

 

Raster Artwork / Images  .jpg, .png, .tif, .pdf or .psd
An image composed of grids of pixels or dots. Scanners and paint programs such as Corel Photo Paint and Adobe Photoshop generate bitmap images. These files produce jagged lines at low resolution.

Raster Artwork requirements and tips:

• Artwork must be submitted at actual size of finished product.
• Resolution for a size 8.5“ x 11” or smaller should be at least 300 dpi for best results.
  (.gif’s collected from the World Wide Web usually do not provide enough resolution)
• For a size bigger than 8.5“ x 11” reduce resolution gradually.
• All images must included the required bleed is necessary (1/8” around).
• Image mode mode can be CMYK or RGB
• If you are using last version available always save file 2 versions bellow.
